Choosing the right stationery for your wedding day, (Or any special occasion!) can be difficult as there are thousands of different designs to choose from.

Most other companies simply allow customers to choose from catalogues, which means the designs you choose are available for everyone else too. As every order I create is unique to you, why choose stationery that 100’s of other couples have already had?

I am here to help you achieve exactly what YOU want!

I am extremely passionate about design and all my cards and stationery is completely hand crafted by yours truly! A wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and I should know; I’ve been there myself!

Designed to impress!

Disney style wedding

And’ertoonz wedding stationery is a
stylish, fun and alternative way to express your individuality! Your guests will love their cards and are also more likely to keep them long after your big day as a special memento, because it is such a personal touch.

Completely unique and personal wedding service, featuring a portrait of the two of you!

I don’t use a computer to generate your caricature, or plonk your head on an ill-fitting re-usable body; I create everything from scratch. For this, I ask for a minimum of six weeks lead-time from our first consultation to the delivery of final art. However, if rush service is required an additional fee will be added.

Q. How do I order?

A. All my caricature illustrations are created by first sketching the person/people to be drawn from a couple of recent and close up, (preferably smiley!) photographs sent either by post or as e-mailed JPEG’s. (The more photo’s from different angles the better - but don’t worry they will all be returned to you if sent by post!)

Sometimes when a subject is not photogenic, they can look different in each picture in which case I need to be told which photo looks the most like them. Remember I can only draw from what is in the photograph
.

The more information you can give me about
any specific details and colours you plan to co-ordinate on the big day etc. (I.e. eye colours or if the bride wear any particular unique earrings or likes her hair in a particular style? What type of flowers will be used for the bouquet? etc.) Attention to detail always enhances design.

It is possible to work from more difficult photographs but the more clearer, recent and close up the better. If I cannot work with a particular photograph I will let you know, but as I do not ask for any payment unless you are completely satisfied it is pretty risk-free. I can only try my best for you!

I will e-mail or post the sketched proofs back to you and to ensure satisfaction, I will not require ANY payment until AFTER the initial sketch work is approved!

A standard non-refundable artwork fee of £50 is required with each order; regardless of invite numbers which is standard practice with this type of product.

A minimum of half the complete cost will need to be paid as soon as initial sketch work has been approved and before I digitise the artwork. The remaining payment for the invites will only be required on completion of the order before I dispatch it to you. I feel this minimises risk to you, and hope it gives you even more confidence in myself, as well as the product.

Please Note: Posting can take much longer in terms of communication and e-mailing is much cheaper, quicker and convenient on both parts. You can also give me a call anytime as I am always on hand should you need me. I strongly believe in customer relations and appreciate it can be just as important as the product itself!

Q. How much does it cost?

A. You can have pretty much anything you want, (Just ask!) but my standard 3 sizes are A5, (A4 folded) A6, (A5 folded) & Square (145mm x 145mm).

These different ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ ranges are based on how many ’tiers’ your card has. The higher prices simply reflect the amount of extra time it takes to hand cut and individually construct each one.

The
care and attention given to each individual card will not go without recognition from your guests!

(Above examples show A148Lsilver & A61ribbed).

For ‘A’ range cards, you can colour coordinate with your wedding by choosing a matching backing card colour. For Silver and Gold backing card options please add 15p to ‘A’ range prices for each card.

b-range-price

The ‘B’ range cards have a single 3D layer, and the ‘C’ range cards are completely flat. (meaning that I need to simply fold each card after printing - no cutting and sticking involved!)

c-range-price

cartoon wedding portrait
(Above examples show AB140L & C63).

For ‘B’ & ‘C’ ranges, I would normally repeat your choice of text in the background. (In these instances I recommend simply putting the name of the bride and groom followed by ‘Wedding Invitation’ simply because it would probably be more difficult to read anything longer.)

Please Note: Day and evening Invites are priced as one order, e.g. 30 Day invites + 70 evening-only invites = 100 Cards, unless different artwork is required for each. (Which may incur additional artwork costs, depending on individual order specifications.)

Colour-coordinated envelopes and printed inserts are included in the price and there is no minimum order.

Q. Is the artwork fee a separate cost?

A. Yes, A portrait of the two of you is £50 on top of the card order.
it will take quite a few hours to create your artwork, as it is drawn by hand before being digitally created and coloured to give the best reproduction quality.

This price is a discount price as the usual cost for me to create a single person caricature portrait, (Or any illustration) would start from at least £60.

You can have a custom background aswell, but depending on what you require, this may incur additional costs.

This £50 artwork fee also includes the cost of proofing and making any changes required.

My ‘Cartoon-Catures’ page contains more samples of a variety of people and pets. These are ideal not only for weddings, but for birthday presents, Christmas presents, new babies, anniversaries or bar mitzvahs! Whatever you like! A great alternative for those who have everything, or just a great sense of humour!

Q. I don't know exactly what I want, can you help?

A. Yes, I’m sure I can give you some ideas to help with the finished illustration. I could even draw the wedding venue or honeymoon destination with the characters. (Although more complicated drawings may be subject to additional charges, but will be individually priced.)

As all my products are made to order, I can actually create any background scene, theme, (Inc. hobbies etc.) and/or pose if you prefer.
Even if you have an idea for a different card style then just give me some idea of what you have in mind and I will do my best to help you out. (However, this may be subject to additional cost depending on individual requirements)

Q. If I don't like my proof what happens then?

A. I’ll keep drawing until you are happy! I won’t send anything to print or start any cutting and sticking until you are completely happy. (And only then will I require any payment…) This is a very special occasion and we can’t have anything being less than perfect for the bride and groom can we?!

Q. How long does it take?

A. I recommend for you to leave me at least 4-6 weeks to create your order.

Each order is different and created by hand so it can take time. If it is a rush order, I may be able to accommodate you, but depending on the time of year I can be very busy in peak times.

Q. When do I send out my invites?

A. As a general guide, the following usually applies:

Wedding invitations are usually sent 10-12 weeks before your wedding. You will need 1 per household and are traditionally sent by the hosts of the day. You may want to add an RSVP date, as you cannot finalise the catering or seating arrangements until all guests have replied.

Evening invitations are used to invite guests that are invited to the Evening Celebration only. Usually sent out at the same time as the Wedding Invitations. It might be useful to order a few extra just uncase you forget anybody but these are usually sent out at the same time as the day Invitations.

Reply cards are usually sent out with all invitations to allow a quick response from your guests and are also supplied with envelopes printed with your return address. This makes it more convenient for your guests to reply ASAP so you can finalise seating arrangements.

Thank you cards are a polite way to say thank you to all your guests for the gifts received. Remember to include those that could not attend the wedding.

Place cards are placed on tables at the reception to inform guests of the seating arrangements. Guests often save these cards as keepsakes, a nice reminder of your special day.

Order of the Day/Order of Service
These inform your guests of what to expect during the service, (or the days celebrations) and also a list of hymns. (In my own, I had a bit about us, the wedding party, the venue, the hen and stag parties and how guests can upload their pictures to a shared photos site.)The Ushers usually give them out when entering the venue. Allow one per guest and extra for the choir and clergy. All order of service information should be checked by the vicar prior to ordering.

Q. How can I contact you?

A. The best way to contact me is by e-mail or by telephone on +44 (0)7734706948. E-mailing is more convenient if possible, as then I can also have a written record of your enquiry. (But please don’t hesitate to call if you don’t have access to email!)

Q. Can I order extra invites if I need them later?

A. Yes, I’ll keep all your details on record, so just let me know how many more you need. There is no minimum quantity and you won’t need to pay again for artwork if it has already been created. You will have to pay again for postage though.

Q. Do you supply other stationery products?

A. Yes. I can supply matching stationery too, from Order of Service to Posters and Tableplans. (Even comics & animated e-cards!) The complete stationery range, all featuring your own caricature portrait, will certainly impress and entertain; whatever the occasion.

I am always in the process of developing new lines, and I can supply a whole range of wedding and party stationery. If you have an idea for an item or design, just let me know and I’ll do my best to help you out…

cartoon comic strip
(A bridal party comic as a great ice-breaker for your guests).
cartoon animated e-cards
(Why not add the e-card option for relatives abroad, last minute invites, thankyou’s or save the dates?).more-products
(Animated e-cards, Stag/Hen T-shirts? Or handmade 3D framed copies for yourself, or family? All prices depending on individual commission complexity).

It’s all in the detail... Some people called me insane.. but at my own wedding I made pop-up invites, cracker favours (With personalised handwritten notes inside each one!) Drink vouchers, table numbers, table plan, a personalised Order of Service booklet, Guest frame (Instead of a book), letterbox, sweet stall... and lots of other little touches. I *still* get comments commenting on how personal everything was!

Q. I’m having children at my wedding. What can I do to keep them occupied?

A. Well, speaking from experience, it really pays off to spare some thought for the children at your wedding! It’s such a long day for them, and they can easily become bored and restless.

At my own wedding, (Being a big kid myself!) I made personalised gift bags for each child, filled with presents and fun stuff; the best of which was a disposable camera and a personalised activity booklet.
The booklets had a list of things they had to find and take photos of.
The parents were equally excited (and grateful!) that I’d taken so much time to consider the children as they were kept occupied for hours! (We even had a designated kiddies table with crayons and stuff, some games and Twister! oh.. and SANTA! Went down a storm!)

The booklets are also brilliant for all guests too as I can design them in any way you want! I can even make a personalised crossword or word-search if you like, nothing’s impossible for your big day!

Q. Can I choose my own text/font for the card inserts?

A. Not a problem! You can have any text you like, and if none of the traditional layouts(PDF) take your fancy, then just send me your alternative text. (Remember to check spelling and details!)

The personalised inserts are printed in black ink as standard, but can be faded to give a silver/grey instead. However there is no set design for these and you can have any text you wish if none of the following take your fancy…

You may wish to enhance the appearance of your inserts by adding coloured text which can replace the black at an additional cost of 25 pence (per card) for small, and 50 pence per square/large card. This might be nice for more colour co-ordination, but I find that black will do the job just fine.

There are also hundreds of fonts to choose from but I tend to stick to classic styles which I feel are the best. If you have a particular font style in mind let me know and I may have it, or at least something similar.

Q. Can I order any samples?

A.
Yes, but first of all, take note of your preferred card code from this guide before ordering. To order a sample, or if you are still unsure of what you want, please contact me and I will cater for your needs as best as possible.

Samples will be made to order and cost £5 each; This will be deducted from your final invoice if you choose to order from me. Payment can be sent via cheque along with a stamped, self addressed envelope. Unfortunately, I have had to implement this measure to prevent time-wasters with no intention to buy.

I am confident that you will not find another artist/company that can supply you with this product at the same high standard and value for money. There are indeed other various suppliers of caricature stationery out there who I find to have the same drawing style as each other, but nothing like this.

I encourage you to send for samples from rival companies if you still aren’t sure. Please also bear in mind that
I handmake each individual card and use only the best materials. I don’t use a computer to generate your caricature, or plonk your head on an ill-fitting re-usable body; I create everything from scratch. I will even give you a choice of quality envelope colours/types, (Including metallic and pearlescent!) – not just white or ivory! (Although there’s nothing stopping you from choosing white of ivory if that’s what you wanted!)

envelopes
Please Note: These show the approximate colours and computer screen colours generally doesn’t do the actual envelopes justice. There is no extra cost whichever you choose, but if there is no specific colour you would like then I will colour-coordinate the envelope for you.

Q. Will I need to pay extra for Postage and Packing?

A.
Parcel Delivery to UK mainland is just £6.50 although any orders over £250 will not be charged for delivery. All other areas will be quoted for individually. In the unlikely occasion that you’re not entirely happy with any of the invites, please return them to me before I replace them free of charge.

Any other queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch as I can accommodate most requirements.

I look forward to helping you to make your big day that extra bit special!

Please Note: As your stationery is printed to personal requirements, it is of utmost importance for you to thoroughly check all proofs accurately. I am unable to accept responsibility for any errors passed over by the customer or damage to orders after they have been signed for on delivery. Please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
